Roger leads the InterSys data warehousing practice with more than 18 years of experience in planning, building and implementing data management and business intelligence solutions in large and highly complex environments.
He specializes in Enterprise Information Management, Data Architecture and Modeling, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Master Data Management, and Information Standards and Compliance. Roger is responsible for defining the service offerings for Data Management and Business Intelligence as well as providing the framework for managing and delivering these services to clients. His success has been recorded with clients such as Citigroup, Toyota, AT&T Wireless, Johnson and Johnson, VA/VHA, and DHS.
As explosive demand for Big Data drives many organizations to their first data warehouse, Roger brings the unique ability to create data warehouses that help clients make sense of information for increased revenue, reduced costs, and improved customer experience while also enabling easier integration with existing IT. While working with Johnson and Johnson, for example, Roger helped build a data warehouse that for the first time integrated sales revenue and cost across three different lines of business. As a result, Johnson and Johnson leveraged the data to focus attention in customer areas that offered the greatest yields with less maintenance.
When not designing data warehouses, Roger focuses on his own house in Austin that he shares with his wife and four kids. He is a foster parent, amateur screenwriter, and sports enthusiast.
